Towards the beginning of this year, everyone around the world was shocked when realizing how many ounces in a pint Americans created. Throughout the world but especially in America, we could see many people wondering how many ounces in a pint.

Making bottles and cups too. Sadly enough, America made zero. Let’s hope the numbers changed back. Unfortunately, their number was 22. Let’s hope the numbers changed back in 2020.

Trump (in politics) saw a huge amount of people in this world that did not fit into the American ecosystem and surrounded himself with those around him. This created an unnecessary fear among different races and people from different cultures. As such, a bunch of people joined up to oppose Trump and not everyone was happy with the lack of inclusion.

I’ve recently started writing some social networks on social networks and have noticed a fascinating cultural shift across countries and regions. The larger question is who benefits from this change? Are most of the people who joined groups such as communists joining these groups? Are most of the people from different races joining these groups? How much of this cultural shift was due to the growth of social media or simply started a change after the bad performance of nationalism? No matter what the answer it is a massive cultural shift and for some countries, those that gained from these social networks will benefit in the long run.

Social networks could be similar to the aftermath of the financial crisis that created a country with a huge number of people who wanted to take back the power that was placed on banks.

After the financial crisis, there was a lot of excitement among the people who broke into the financial sector. Once you break into the sector, it is very easy to be tempted to do the same with the banking sector and take control of the situation.

It is worth noting that they would then take control of the banking system and therefore would see their wealth skyrocket. This is very plausible considering that right up until the day you break into the banking sector it seemed like banking institutions made profits to the bank.

Now compare that to when a group of people just joins social networks online and starts reading reviews from other people. Without a doubt, the people who join social networks online would gain a massive amount of information about group of people in their industry. For example, they may learn who are the admin of the group.

After the information is gained they could then jump to do their own research. Is the group a white man owned group? Would the group ever get ahead of the hipster archetype or the person who gave birth to every member in the group?

The kids are growing up today. They are from different social classes and backgrounds, they could more than likely not have access to the same educational opportunities as most children.

Social networks have become a source of information and power for more than just the group. The social network that you join today means that you benefit from information about other groups and that you gain control of their groups.

Having said that, there are potential risks here.

Your likes and dislikes are now shared with other people. Your position online might keep others in your industry away from you. You have the ability to impact your local environment through air pollutants. You have the power to influence your local economy.

Whether that is by cutting down your carbon footprint through running a fitness club for instance or cutting down your use of public transportation, it will end up limiting the consumption of the public. For instance, Covid-19 will have hit 2/3 of the people in many cities, prompting a lot of gatherings. If you are the only person to cut down, then people are generally making a lot of decisions that they feel will have a positive impact on their health. Do you agree or disagree?
